We believe in the total verbal and plenary inspiration of the Scriptures, consisting of Old and New Testaments, the Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, the complete and unalterable special revelation of God, and our final authority (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12-13; John 17:17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 1 Peter 1:23-24; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

We believe in one Triune God, eternally existing in three distinct, co-equal and co-eternal Persons consisting of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6).

We believe that God the Father, the first Person of the Trinity, is co-equal and co-eternal with God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, orders and disposes all things according to His own purpose and grace (Psalm 145:8-9; John 10:30; 14:9; 1 Corinthians 8:6). He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1-31; Ephesians 3:9). As the only absolute and omnipotent ruler in the universe, He is sovereign in creation, providence, and redemption (Psalm 103:19; Romans 11:36). His Fatherhood involves both His designation within the Trinity and His relationship with mankind. He is the Creator and maker of all mankind, but He is spiritual Father only to those who are born again through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:6; Romans 8:14; 2 Corinthians 6:18). 

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, the eternal Son of God, became man, without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by God the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. He came that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man (Isaiah 7:14, 9:6; Luke 1:35; John 1:1- 4, 14; Philippians 2:5-7; Colossians 2:9-10). God the Son is co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Holy Spirit (John 10:30; 14:9, 16). Our Lord Jesus Christ voluntarily accomplished our redemption through the shedding of His blood and by His death on the cross as a substitutionary atonement for the sin of mankind (John 10:15; Romans 3:23-26; 5:8; Ephesians 2:13; Phil. 2:8; Hebrews 9:11-14; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 2:24; 1 John 2:2). Our justification is made sure by His literal, bodily resurrection from the dead, and He is now ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He now mediates and intercedes as our Advocate and High Priest (Matthew 28:6; Mark 16:19; Luke 24:38-39; Acts 2:30-33; Romans 4:25; 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Hebrews 7:25; 9:24; 1 John 2:1).

We believe God the Holy Spirit is co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father and God the Son (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16; Acts 5:3-4; 28:25-26; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14). It is the work of God the Holy Spirit to execute the divine will with relation to all mankind. We recognize His sovereign activity in the creation (Genesis 1:2), the incarnation (Matthew 1:18), the written revelation (2 Peter 1:20-21), and the work of salvation (John 3:5-7). His activity includes convicting the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment; glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ and transforming believers into the image of Christ (John 16:7-9; Acts 1:5; 2:4; Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; Ephesians 2:22). God the Holy Spirit is the supernatural and sovereign agent in regeneration, baptizing all believers into the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:13). The Holy Spirit also indwells, sanctifies, instructs, empowers believers for service, and seals them unto the day of redemption (Romans 8:9-11; 2 Corinthians 3:6; Ephesians 1:13). Every believer possesses the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit from the moment of salvation, and it is the duty of all those born of the Spirit to be filled (controlled by) with the Spirit (Romans 8:9-11; Ephesians 5:18; 1 John 2:20, 27). God the Holy Spirit administers spiritual gifts to the church for the work of the ministry, and brings glory to Christ by implementing His work of redeeming the lost and building up believers in the most holy faith (John 16:13-14; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

We believe that all people who place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual body, the Church (1 Corinthians 12-13), the bride of Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 5:23-32; Revelation 19:7-8), of which the Lord Jesus Christ is the head (Ephesians 1:22; 4:15; Colossians 1:18). The formation of the Church, the body of Christ, began on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-21, 38-47) and will be completed at the coming of Christ for His own at the Rapture (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18). The Church is a unique spiritual organism designed by Christ, and made up of all born-again believers in this present age (Ephesians 2:11-3:6). The Church is distinct from Israel (1 Corinthians 10:32), a mystery not revealed until this present age (Ephesians 3:1-6; 5:32). The spiritual body of Christ, the Church, expresses itself in local assemblies, the local church, whose members have been baptized upon a confession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 18:17; 28:18-20; Acts 14:23, 27; 20:17, 28; Galatians 1:2; Philippians 1:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:1), and have associated and purposed themselves for worship, ministry (Matthew 22:36-40), evangelism, fellowship and discipleship (Matthew 28:18-20). The local church has the responsibility of carrying out the ordinances of the church: baptism of the believer by immersion (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 8:36-39), and the Lord’s Supper (Luke 22:14-20; Acts 2:38-42). The local church is to have all its affairs governed and directed by a plurality of male elders, also addressed in Scripture as overseers, pastors, shepherds and bishops (Acts 14:23; 15:4; 20:17, 28; Philippians 1:1-2; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; 5:17; Titus 1:5-9; 1 Peter 5:1-3). The response of the local church is to be obedient to the head shepherd, Jesus Christ, and to obey the elders who rule over the church in obedience to Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13; 1 Timothy 5:17; Hebrews 13:17).

We believe humans were created in the image and likeness of God; in Adam’s sin humanity fell, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God. Humanity is comprehensively sinful and incurred physical and spiritual death/spiritual separation from God; thus all people are born with a sin nature and are unable to remedy this lost condition (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:1-24; Romans 3:22-23; 5:12-19: Ephesians 2:1-3, 12).

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice for all people, and all who trust/believe in Him are saved by grace through faith on the ground of His shed blood, and are kept secure unto salvation in Christ forever (John 1:12; 3:16; 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39; 1 Corinthians 1:4-8; Ephesians 1:7-14; 2:4-10; 1 Peter 1:5, 18-19; 1 John 5:10-13).

We believe in the literal, physical resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord Jesus Christ; and in the ascension of Christ to heaven where He is exalted at the right hand of God, where, as our High Priest, He fulfills the ministry of Representative, Intercessor, and Advocate (1 Peter 1:3-5; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Act 1:9-10; Hebrews 7:25; Romans 8:34).

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous, and the endless suffering of the wicked (Matthew 25:46; John 3:16-18; 5:24-29; 11:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15:20-28, 35-58; Revelation 20:11-15). We believe that Christ will eliminate all sin and rebellion and will create a new heaven and a new earth in which he will reign forever (Zechariah 14:4-11; 1 Thessalonians 1:10; 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Revelation 3:10; 19:11-21; 20:1-10).
